壹次聊天中，何曉然向王英和呂琴透露了窘境：因為找不到工作而囊中羞澀，她從老家帶來的錢很快就要花完了。不料，呂琴也坦言與何曉然有著相似的境遇。互相“交心”後，膽大的王英提出去商場伺機偷東西換點錢，其余二人附和。於是三人乘公交來到了楊浦區五角場某商場閑逛，分頭尋找 “獵物”。
